The phenomenon that is growing these days showing well growth of Islamic banking and financial system in Indonesia in particular and in the world in general. This is because the Islamic financial system is one of among that is able to survive the global financial and economic crisis that is happening right now. On the one hand, this is something that is very encouraging and deserves appreciation. But on the other hand, we need to increase the understanding of people about complete information about the financial products based on Islamic contracts, so that people will be more aware of the benefits and advantages compared with conventional systems. With the emerging consciousness of this understanding, we expect it could turn them to be customers who are loyal to Islamic products.

Even though the Islamic financial services industry represents only 1 percent of global financial assets, it has been growing strongly over the past decade. In 2011, Islamic financial assets expanded US$ 1,086 billion, an impressive 21-percent growth over the previous year (Oakley, 2011). In recent years, Islamic business is growing quite surprising, both in Indonesia and even in the world. This development was marked by the increasing number of Islamic banks that are emerging. Although some of them have not fully embraced the principles of Shariah yet. Islamic banks have responded to economic and financial shocks in the same way as conventional banks, suggesting that the gap between Islamic and conventional financial practices is shrinking.
